Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat the oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Make the crust: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs (or chocolate graham cracker crumbs), granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well coated with the butter.
  3. Press the crust: Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, creating an even layer. Use the back of a spoon or your hands to pack it tightly.
  4. Bake the crust: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is slightly set. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.
