Easy French Silk Pie with Oreo

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Let the melted chocolate cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined.
Add the cooled melted chocolate to the butter mixture and continue to beat until smooth and fully incorporated.
Carefully add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. To ensure the eggs are safe, you can place them in a bowl of hot tap water for a few minutes to warm them up before adding them to the mixture.
Beat the mixture for an additional 5-7 minutes, until it becomes light and fluffy.
3. Assemble the Pie:
Spoon the French silk filling into the cooled Oreo crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to let the filling set.
4. Make the Whipped Cream Topping:
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Spread the whipped cream over the chilled pie.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Garnish the pie with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or additional crushed Oreos, if desired.
Slice and serve the decadent French Silk Pie with Oreo crust!
